Participate in Coin Network Forums
One of the most popular features of Coin Network is the discussion forums. The following is a quick "how to" guide on participating in discussions or starting discussions in the forum.
First, make sure you are signed in to the network. Front and center on the home page, you will always see a listing of recently active forum threads. You can access any of these discussions directly by clicking on the titles.
Access the full Coin Network Forum, by clicking on the Forum tab. You will see a number of different categories which each contain different discussions on the category topic. Categories include Coin News, US Coins, World Coins, Ancient Coins, Questions & Answers, and more. Click on any category to see a list of discussion threads. Click on any discussion thread title to see view and respond to the discussion.
Adding your reply to the discussion is easy. Simply type your response in the text box located just below the initial post. You can format the text of your response with the formatting buttons located just above the text box. The formatting buttons function as follows:
Bold - highlight a portion of text and click the button to embolden the text.
Italics - highlight a portion of text and click the button to italicize the text.
Underline - highlight a portion of text and click the button to underline the text
Strike through - highlight a portion of text and click the button to strike through the text.
Hyperlink - highlight a portion of text and click the button to make the text a clickable link. After you click the button you will see a pop up box where you can input the web address you want to link.
Image - click this button to add an image to your response. After you click the button you will see a pop up box where you can use "Browse" to locate the image on your computer or input the web address of an image already online.
You can also start brand new discussions in the forum. Just find the green "+" symbol followed by Add a Discussion. This link will appear at the top of any page in the Forum section. You can also find the link in other sections of the site that present forum threads such as the Home page or your member profile page. To create a new discussion click the Add a Discussion link.
Next you will see the Start a Discussion page. Here you will need to enter a Discussion Title and Post. You can format the text of your post using the same formatting buttons discussed above. Next, select an appropriate Category for your post and add descriptive Tags. Click Add Discussion button at the bottom of the page and your discussion will be live. Depending on your email settings, you will be notified when anyone responds to your post.
