Adding to the fun or just a diversion?

I've been thinking. Since I already have all the Modern Commemorative Half dollars and all the Kennedy's and some of the Franklin's and about a third of the Early Commemorative half's then maybe I should be buying the other half's instead of just Early Commemoratives. On regular half dollars I go as far back as 1956 in Proof and 1957 in Unc., both Denver and Philadelphia mints and San Francisco where applicable. Who knows maybe buying some Franklin's for a while might save me some money as the Early Commemorative half's are getting expensive i.e. more than 200$ each. I'll have to look up some Franklin's to check the prices. You figure I need 3 per year from 1956 and before and then I can start on the WLH's.

I think this is a good strategy but first I need to figure out how low in quality or how high I'm willing to go. My initial thoughts are grades 65 or greater on the Frank's and do some serious thinking on standards for the WLH's as they are more money which may mean as low as MS63. Time and money will tell.

Thanks for the comments! I need to fix that flip I did on the reverse. The coin is just like it left the mint, it has a nice sharp strike and the whiteness is amazing!
