Why I like type coins

I like type coins for three reasons. The first is that I simply like more than just one coin series and collecting by type allows you to collect in more than one "direction" such as by denomination, time period, or series such as seated or barber.The second reason is collecting by type is less expensive. Hello, my name is Pete and I have been a collector for many years. My favorites are older type coins such as: Indians, buffalos, Mercurys, walkers, Morgans and barbers. I attend a lot of local shows and I am somewhat active on teletrade / heritage.Like a lot of collectors, I don't mind making a profit when I can and using the money to buy more.See More
