- About My Coin Collection
- I started collecting in earnest about the year 2000. my dad had a serious collection of lots of coins, u.s, and international. I think his start was during WWII, while he was in europe ;-). I have some of his coins from then that he brought back - a lot of early German state coins from the 1800's. His interest really spurred mine, and i am happy now that it did. I prefer classic designs, like the Liberty themed coins from the early-mid 1900's.

- If i was given the choice to keep just one coin, it would be the 1926 Sesquicentennial $5 gold. The theme, and ultimately the modern-age design are what i like most.
