Did you know that Kelantan & Kedah have both had their own coin issues in recent years?
Kelantan issued gold in both AH1427 (2006) in 1/4,1/2,& 1 Dinar denominations,& a 2 Dinars in 2007 for the Sultan's Birthday.I have an example of the 1/4 Dinar in my own collection.
Kedah issued silver & gold medal-coins for the Sultan's Golden Jubilee in 2008.I have an example of the silver 5 Dirhams in my own collection.

Beautiful!!!
The Straits Settlements 1862 1/4 Cent is quite a scarce coin.Unfortunately,it still eludes me though.
I do have the 1863 1/4 & 1 Cent coins from Sarawak in my collection though.
I picked up a British North Borneo 1904H 1 Cent coin last weekend.
Aidan.
The coins of British North Borneo,Sarawak,& the Straits Settlements have always been popularly collected by British Commonwealth numismatists.
Both the Sarawak 1863 1/4c. & Straits Settlements 1862 1/4c. coins are catalogued very high in Krause in the bottom grades.
