About Me: "Rubycored" (or "Ruby" for short)

The "relatively young" collector from Taiwan, and regular sight in International Coin Fairs in RDS, Ireland - I have been collecting since the age of 10 but only gotten serious into researching as late as Christmas'08 - when I was asked to help out to compile a catalog of Taiwan currency issues.

Presently I am helping one of my Taiwanese-banknote collector friend to compile a World Banknote Gallery book (due to release in April 2010)

The character you see on my avatar is my fan-character, Lucie Valerian. Will be used until I can find a useful coin-related avatar to replace.

About My Coin Collection: Currently over 2,400 different coins (excluding non-circulating gold, silver, other base metals coins) and 4,000 banknotes as of 2009.

Although as of 2008 i have stopped collecting Coins due to problems keeping all types in order (especially circulating commemoratives) as well as problems when transporting my coin collections around the globe (namely their heavy weight)...

I have been keen into expanding my banknote collection; in particular notes of hyperinflation (Austria, China, Germany, Hungary, Yugoslavia, Zaire, Zimbabwe etc etc)

My current banknote wish-list is available upon request.

I have quantities of Taiwanese banknotes available for sale/swap; ask for details.
