How's the numismatic trade over there in Toronto?
Are you collecting Canadian Tire's famous 'tyre money' notes?
Aidan.
Did you know that the 'tyre money' is Canada's second national currency?
Well,it is,even though it can be really classed as a community currency like the Toronto Dollars is.
Aidan.
There's a discussion thread about Canadian Tire's 'tyre money' up on World Community Currencies, which will be of interest to you.
Do you know which province(s) the Pioneer Bonus Bucks are issued in? There's nothing mentioned about this on http://www.pioneer.ca/bonusbucks/ at all.
Aidan.
I finally got a 2005 Alberta Centenary commemorative 25c. coin,as I found it while sorting out a nice lot of coins for pulling out the currency coins from.
I was very pleased to get it,despite having a disappointing time at the coin & stamp fair this morning - I was only able to get 2 Nigerian notes, plus a Singaporean $5 paper note that I didn't have.
Aidan.
I have some of the wheaties and Indian Pennies, I also like the big Australian Pennies, with the Kangaroo.
Thanks for writing, I'll check back soon.
I'll post a picture in my page album.
I hope all is well,
Cheers, louie
