Which do you like more, the older colonial issues, or the modern coinage?

I've just gone through my collection of Hong Kong coins, and I find that the older colonial issues prior to 1985 more to my liking, however I can see where some might consider them a tad boring. They were uniform, to the point, and looked very colonial as with many of the British colonial issues of the period. Hey Marc, how are things going friend? I haven't been too active lately, on the forums or in the numismatic world. I'm still unemployed, so my style is really cramped! I haven't really had much interest in posting in the forums about things I cannot afford to pursue. I miss chatting on the German Coin Group, but I will be more active, once things turn around!
