King George VI 1 cent coin issued by Commissioners of Currency Malaya year 1943?

I hope that some of the members in this group could shed some light on this 'mystery' regarding the King George VI 1 cent coin issued by Commissioners of Currency Malaya and dated 1943. As far as I know, Malaya was under Japanese occupation during that time and according to a book that I read, the Currency Board of Malaya was established shortly before World War II and introduced uniform coinage in Strait Settlements and the Malay States in 1939. This coinage was interrupted during the war and…See More

i have sent total 29 letters containing a indian coin and unc bank note(special to Tony Ahva). Any body like to join the club, could do so. I will send a letter with a indian coin to build friendship. If u are not interested, please ignore this message. Friends from America, European states, please give your mailing address and email id. If u think sending one coin is not worth as it would cost 2-3$ for the postage. Then we will work out for atleast 10 -15 coins, by ordinary post only. First give ur address, join coins for friends group. Then i will send u a coin from india. You the check the quality of the coin and its sender. If u trust me, then u can send 10-15 coins or any unc bank note to my address. When i receive your assorted coins or bank notes. Then i would send u the equivalent 10-15 coins from india.
You can specify the coins u want. First i will take the first step in building trust between us, then we can go in for exchange of coins or bank notes. If u dont trust me then u can have the coin i sent you. No regrets, grudges.

Charles,
Sarawak's coins are very popular.

As for Sarawak's banknotes, they are very scarce.

I have had to make do with some Malaysian postal orders issued in Sarawak, especially ones issued at Kuching.

Charles,
I have got the new Kelantanese 1 Dirham & 2 Dirhams coming on their way.

I have been informed by Umar Vadillo that both Perak & Selangor are planning to put out their own Dinars & Dirhams as well.

I will be very interested in getting those 2 states' coins represented as well.

Aidan.
