Buy PM's Now?, or wait?

Ok everyone, what's the concensus concerning the price of Silver and Gold?  How long and at what level should small timers like myself wait to start stocking up?  Many of the pundits stated that…Continue

Buy PM's Now?, or wait?

Ok everyone, what's the concensus concerning the price of Silver and Gold?  How long and at what level should small timers like myself wait to start stocking up?  Many of the pundits stated that >$30 and $1600 should trigger a buy, but the prices seem to keep dropping.  Now I wonder at what price we should wait for?  Thanks for the advice.See More

Insurance?

I have another "Rookie" question.  Can anyone give me a few ideas regarding insurance for my meager collection?  My Homeowners is a little out of their minds for what they want, lol!  I tried to Google it, but that was a waste of time, and I thought that with all the "Great Minds" here, someone might be willing to give some advice.  And yes, it is already housed in two safes that are bolted to the floor.  Thank you.See More

The Mint has now rolled my order to the 21st of November, and again, my order number is fairly low, 38334xxx, which begs the question; I wonder which Turkey will be served first, lol?  I can just picture some $9 an hour employee stuffing boxes, afixing address labels, and loading pallets of Anniversary Sets for shipping!  I'm certain that they will all be handled with extreme care, similar to a baggage handler at the airport.  What a fine mess we've gotten ourselves into this time?!See More

October 27, 2011 is going to be a very busy day for the Mint!  The 25th Anniversary Set will be released, and I'm certain that both their web site and phone lines will implode, lol!  I would assume that the usual time of 1200 hours will be the starting time for both avenues.  Good luck.

How long should we wait?

Ok readers, how long should a rookie wait until starting to buy PM's again?  At what price should this crash level off at, and then what should we do?  I realize that we all have taken a bath on PM's lately, and as a Dollar-cost-averaging standpoint, the experts always tell you to buy, but when you have a finite budget for PM's, how long do we wait?  I'm happy I did sell some PM's off when the price was over $40/1800, and if the pros who frequent this site tell me their thoughts, it would be…See More

The Perth Mint's High Relief

I just received the 2011 HR Perth Mint's Silver Kangaroo coin, and I think it rivals the US HR Gold coin.  The proof strike is outstanding, and it even has a beautiful package.  The mint only struck 20,000 of these, and the cost wasn't that prohibative.  I guess I will recon, and try to find the one from last year.  Any thoughts from my friends on this site?

The new Anniversary Set?

I just read about the new 25th Anniversary Set from the Mint, and I was wondering what the price might be?  Of course I realize that it all depends on the spot price of Silver, and a profit margin, but you all are way smarter than I am, so I thought I would throw it out there for an educated guess.  There will be 5 coins, with a new reverse proof, and the Mint is including an Eagle from San Fransisco.  I wonder if it will have the "S" mint mark, or do we have to trust the Mint, LOL!!!  Any…See More

Gold and Silver?

I'm getting sea-sick from watching the PM price graph?  Gee; let's get scared and buy, then take our profit.  What a world!!  Oh well, at my age I need something to do, lol!

Silver value?

My Wife and I found an old candy dish at a local store.  This piece is from the International Silver Company, and the name stamp is "Camille".  Anyway, we paid $29 for it, and it has a sterling Silver total weight of 46 ounces.  We were wondering if we got a deal, and what "Sterling" means in % of Silver?  It is a little tarnished, duh, and it is solid!  And no, a magnet doesn't stick to it, lol!  Thanks guys, you all are the best.  Armydoc (Bruce)

Will the Mint do this?

Do any of you guys think the Mint will produce anything special for the 25th Anniversary of the Silver Eagle?  They did in 1996 & 2006, and we know what those are now worth.  One would think that on the Silver Ann. they would, but afterall, we are talking about our Mint!?  I was just wondering.

Going Down; Goind Down?!

I don't know wether I'm happy that I sold Silver @ $47.29, or that I didn't cash in more?  Now, is it time to open the wallet, and start buying more, in case it does it again.  I'm not smart enough to be a speculator, which is why I ask these questions here.  I know from reading, that there are plenty of "Smart and educated" folks I can and have received sound advice from this site.  Ok Boys and Girls; what's the next move?

Going Down!?

Well, Silver is down $10 in just a few days.  Did OBL own a silver mine?  What do the experts think, and is now a good time to buy, or wait, lol!  What a pretty pickle.  Thanks guys and gals.

Just how high will these metals rise?

I just opened up a site to check the spot price on the PM's, and all of them just rose over 5% on the opening of the market.  I learn from the experts who post here, and I'm wondering what you guys think now.  The last time I asked, Silver was at $32, and now it's almost $50, so now will it hit $100?, or will the crash (adjustment and profit taking) be right around the corner?  Sure is tempting to grab some quick cash, but how does a rookie like me ever make a rational situation.  Thanks all.

Presidential Coins?

Hoe is the Mint going to deal with these coins when they get to the "Living Presidents"?  Or have they already waived the "DEAD" requirement?  Thanks all for the info.

First give ur address, join coins for friends group. Then i will send u a coin from india. You the check the quality of the coin and its sender.
