I am a full-time Accounting student situated in Port Elizabeth, South Africa. I have been collecting coins for almost a year now.
About My Coin Collection
I collect mainly ZAR, 1892 -1902, coins, but I do collect Union coins,1923 - 1960's, on the side. I focus on SIlver coins as, being a student, resources are limited and gold coins always demand a premuim. But I plan to win the lottery and change that.
My ZAR collection is basically full, but I am always in the process of "upgrading" and the possibility of a 2nd collection is strong.
Welcome and I hope you enjoy the hobby as much as the rest of us do. I too once was a student, so dont worry, you will be upgrdaing your set in no time .
Braam,
I forgot to mention that I have also got a Sammy Marks Tickey in my collection - a contemporary jeweller's copy without the dots in the 'Z.A.R.' monogram on the reverse. That one cost me NZ$200 nearly 10 years ago.
Braam,
I am semi-retired on medical grounds,as I was burned out through working long hours as a kitchenhand in a restaurant part-time from 1992 to 1994 & full-time from 1995 until January 1996,when I was made redundant.
I work part-time 2 afternoons a week for a coin dealer.
My area of numismatics is British Commonwealth banknotes, coins, postal orders,& traders' currency tokens.
I am sure that Coin Network will bring many special-interest collectors and hobbyists together. I am a collector, hobbyist, and coin-student based in India.

I am very happy to note that you are interested in Indian
coins. I am a dedicated coin collector and coin-student,
and I often get duplicates of coins which I wish to sell.
However, I would prefer to use a non commercial direct
offer approach.
To do so, I have created a Twitter account at
http://twitter.com/IndianCoins
Twitter is a social site using which people can send very
short communication to each other. So if you are interested
in knowing about my very cheap and very diverse coin
offers, then please go to the above location and click the
"follow" tab.
If you do not have a twitter membership, then you will have
to create one, which is very easy. Like any other social
site (orkut, facebook), you can easily create an account.
I have plenty of coins to offer in a non-commercial environment,
and I am sure that you will definitely take advantage of this facility
