Instances are plenty. Many gupta coins hoards were found before Bayana containing upto 200 coins in one find. But most of them look insignificant when compared to the mammoth find of Bayana. Finding only gold coins was the most significant.
The other hoards which were found prior to Bayana in 1952 were mainly at:
Allahabad
Kalighat
Tanda
Jaunpur
Jhansi
Gopalpur etc

While you're at it,you should download a FREE photo editor off http://www.photoscape.org to help you with cropping the excess area from around the coin & to strengthen the contrast.Yes,you can combine the photos of both sides to form a new picture.

You have a separate sign for the 'rafaar' in Brahmi n there is no need to wite 'ra' for that at least in surya.
In Mauryan brahmi whenever a conjunct was made involving 'ra' , it was shown as far as possible by showng a straight line in a zigzag way. You can check with the Girnar version. But of course the script changed over a period of time...
