Does anyone know when the Mint is going to start making and releasing the 5 oz. 3 inch Silver "coins" of the AMERICA THE BEAUTIFUL SETS??? If so, do you know the price and approximate mintage of said 'coins"? THANKS!! BRYAN

Does anyone know anything about this rumor...

The rumor I heard is that the BEP (Bureau of Engraving and Printing) is going to stop using STAR NOTES when they have or make a screw up. I also heard that by doing this it could drive the collecters value of the present STAR NOTES way up. Does anyone know if this is true or false? Has anyone else heard the same rumor? Profile Information

About Me: I have been collecting coins for most of my life--from about 8 years old till now - which comes out to 44 years!! I also collect swords & knives, Yards-of-Ale style glasses, and precious gemstones. Coins are without a doubt my favorite collectible and what I enjoy 'bragging' about. Yes, sometimes I do drive my fiancee crazy with having so many collections but she enjoys helping me with the coins and gems.

About My Coin Collection: Since I have been collecting so long my collection is pretty extensive. It started with pennies and when they were complete, back to the 1857 Flying Eagles, it moved on to nickles, then dimes, and so on. Now I have completed all the sets back to Pre-Civil War. In the last 3 years I've been concentrating on Silver and Gold coins and buillion, both American and foreign. My fiancee has been helping me finish the New Orleans Morgan Dollars by getting 1 for me for each special occasion or holiday. It definitely makes holidays worth looking forward to since Morgans are one of my favorite sets. I'm looking forward to posting some pictures, as soon as I figure out how to take decent ones!!

Contest Idea Is Working Really Well!!

Has anyone else looked at the new members list in the last 2 days?? On Thursday (6-15) coinnetwork posted that their were 581 members. Today, Saturday(6-17) as of 4:00 eastern time, the total has risen to 641!! That is awesome! Up 60 members, or around 10% in 48 hours! Bet you all would like to see your coins, buillion, or stocks hold an increase like that. I know I would!!
