I know nothing about your particular coin but my father had brought back some French francs from the WWI era. At that time one franc was worth about twenty cents. The coin was little smaller than a quarter. It was silver as I recall. There is a world coin site that is pretty complete but today for some reason my computer did not like the site. It gave me a big red warning. I have no reason why. But if you wanted to take a chance it would be www.worldcoin.com Click on France and see what you get.
