This coin is belong to madras presidency extremely very very rare coin 4 annas and we can keep this for Tamil script coins B'coz, Obv:Persian&English script Rev:Tamil&Telugu script

what is mean by Tamil script coins?some coins I saw madras presidency coin you have mentioned as a Tamil script coin why?

Good question

In India we are  talking 15 hundred above languages. In Tamilnadu we speak Tamil Language not only in Tamilnadu,Tamil language in National language in India,srilanka,Singapore,Malaysia etc..Our Indian government announced Tamil language is a'' classical language ''In ancient period Tamil kings minted Tamil script in there coins and as well as medieval period also and In Madras presidency you see Obv:Persian script Rev: Tamil script and Telugu script  They used Tamil script for denomination.were every I found Tamil letters in coins.old letter Plam leaf  I use buy them for my collection

Can I know the interpretation for Salem Coins. It's new to me as I have never heard Salem as a Separate Identity in coins.Would you Pl.explain?
