Hi everyone...here a website you can look at called "The Greater Atlanta Coin Shows 2009". They have a meeting/show every month.

I did not get to go to Knoxville. I'm a small-budget collector and only go to a few shows a year.

As far as Tom's suggestion, Dalton would actually be much better for me to get to. The April show is about half the size of the one around Labor Day. The one around Labor Day is about the biggest one I've ever been to. BTW, Tom, are you talking about Whitman's show or the monthly coin shows in Atlanta? I might eake out an excuse to go to Whitman's.

once you go, you'll be hooked. i've never been to the monthly show (because I don't believe in work on Sundays). Whitman show is September 21-26, 2009 and is one of the larger shows.

Either way I would have to drive a long ways lol, but we will see. Do they have a lot of activities and set-in’s like speeches and stuff you can join besides going to the coin show? You know kind of what you hear about the ANA shows.

Oh, they have all kinds of activities. But the activity I like most is looking at coins, trying to sell off the coins I no longer want, and getting coins I just gotta have. After 2-3 shows, you get a rhythm at them.
