Southern Rhodesia 1954 1/2 Crown (2/6) - a very underrated coin, not to mention underpriced in Krause!

Here's my example of the Southern Rhodesian 1954 2/6.

The 1953 Cecil Rhodes Crown turns up a lot,but the 1954 coins never seem to turn up.

This coin was sold to me by an expatriate New Zealander who now lives in Melbourne,Australia who had it for an insanely cheap price - NZ$4!

I wasn't going to pass up on this.

Please let me know what you think.

I've always liked the Southern Rhodesian 2/6; it is a particularly nice coin. The only issue I can see is (as usual) the Elizabeth portrait is weak, the entire series is unfortunately like this, as is the South African currency of the time (that uses the same portrait). I can't believe you got it so cheap though!
Greg,
It is the New Zealand coins that have the same obverse,as does the Rhodesia & Nyasaland coins from the 3d. right up to the 2/6.

South African coins have 'ELIZABETH II REGINA' as the obverse inscription.

I've got the Southern Rhodesian cupro-nickel 2/6 of King George VI,plus the 1934 one.

The silver King George VI ones are extremely elusive.

nice coin, an nice price

I have added both the 1954 1/2 & 1 Penny, plus the Rhodesia & Nyasaland 1956 1/2 Crown to my collection in the past month or so.
