Hi, I have many uncirulated sets of Zimbabwean notes. The sets comprises of the Billion and Trillion dollar notes that have now been discontinued

The very last issue of Zimbabwean notes was actually the one issued after the Trillion Dollar-denominated notes - the $1 to $500 issue, which disappeared from circulation pretty much straight away.

So far,I have the $1 & $5 notes from this historically interesting issue.

The coinage up to Zimbabwe Independence. I have about 20 more to get before I have the complete set from Southern Rhodesia, Rhodesia and Nyasaland, Rhodesia (the colony), and Rhodesia (the republic) except for the 1977 1/2c which I will never get, and as it was actually withdrawn, I'm not sure its worth bothering about. I heard there were 10 known specimens, the last time I saw it for sale was upwards of £6000! My collection is all VF or better. I also have a huge number of spares to swap if anyone is interested, most VF or better (and not an ebay VF either!).

Greg,
That's a pretty fine collection of coins that you have got there.

I've always found the Southern Rhodesian silver coins from the 6d. to the 2/6 very elusive. The 1946 2/- is pretty expensive in any grade.

Late last year,a dealer in Melbourne (Australia) had an example of the Southern Rhodesian 1954 2/6 on his list for a real bargain price - NZ$4! He was mad to put that price on it,considering that it is catalogued at around US$15 in Krause.

Naturally,I bought it for my own collection.

Rhodesian banknotes & postal orders have become extremely difficult to find.

The Zimbabwean coin series isn't easy to try & complete, especially for the coins dated 2001 to 2003.I was very lucky when the same dealer in Melbourne had the 2003 $10 & $25 in stock only a few weeks after coming out late last year.

Naturally,I bought those 2 coins,as I knew that they would disappear from circulation straight away,& prices would climb.
