2010 Lincoln Reverse

Hello everyone,

I am wondering how everyone feels about the new reverse? I am conflicted to be honest. I do and do not like it. It is plain, which is good, as most changes from the mint lately have been over board (Jefferson with bangs??) However i am not sure i like the new design, or maybe I am just not used to it, yet?

What do you think?

At first I was not crazy about it. There was quite a few other designs and I liked one of the ones with the flag design more. It's not really a bad design though. These coins do get spots on them pretty quickly. Here's a picture of the reverse I uploaded onto coinnetwork a while back:

I am guessing in time i will warm up to the design, not against t by any means at all, just that is is new...lol. I have to admit the Mint did a good job of not ruining this as it has with some other coins of recent.

I just got word from Ngc that out of 2 roll/100 coins of 2010-D cents only 5 were MS-65

I would think 5% would be high for a MS65 grade, no?

I agree it is rather plain! but a glad they did not do away with the cent coin

I agree!!! but you would think a roll fresh from Denver would grade higher than a Philly minted coin.most Denver coins I had grade always have grade higher than a Philly coin.that just my opinion
