Hello all

And thanks to Aidan for leading me to and starting this thread!

Contacted the Muamalah council to see if they are willing to sell me the coins on the basis that I have already done business on several occasions with the Malaysian agency previously responsible for gold coin issues from Kelantan.

At present, the website of the Muamallah council is quite well constructed but their sole POS appears to be a clothing shop in a part of Kuala Lumpur that I have never heard of. When double-clicking on to the internet address you find a clothing company called Coliseum with different men's clothes priced in Euros. All this looks a little suss to me, so hopefully I will be able to provide more information to this esteemed collecting community as soon I get information from Malaysia.

On recent visit to Malaysia, I obtained some gold Kelantan coins. At the moment I can sell two of the 1/4 Dinars and one of the 1 Dinar coins. Prices on request. Prefer to ship within Australia as I can accept money directly to my bank account and registered postage charges are cheaper.
Paul,
You could try contacting this crowd; http://www.nubex.com.my/about_us.php .

Please let me know when you are planning another trip up to Kelantan,as I still haven't got Kelantan represented in my postal order collection.

The Kelantanese 1 Dirham would be a very nice coin to get.

Aidan.
Paul,
Here's the photos of what both the obverses & reverses look like;

These photos have been harvested off Facebook & posted onto http://www.dinar-emas.com as well for educational purposes.

If you do decide to go up to Kelantan after these coins have been released for public sale in August, you will have to get me some Kelantanese-issued Malaysian Postal Orders, just like you did when you went to Kedah last year.

Aidan.

Paul,

I am going to be definitely adding in the Perakese silver Dirham coins into my collection.

Umar Vadillo has informed me that Kedah will be introducing the Dinar & Dirham currency system into circulation,& Perak will also put a coin issue into circulation as well.

Umar has also informed me that Kazakhstan is also going to put Dinars & Dirhams into circulation as well - & make them legal tender.

Eventually, one will find Kazakh Dinars & Dirhams in circulation in Malaysia along with those of the various Malayan monarchies.

Aidan.
