I have absolutely no idea how many thousand Turkish Lira they are supposed to be denominated at.

If one of the silver ones was offered to me at the right price,I'd gladly add it into my collection of Cypriot coins.

Strictly speaking,these medal-coin issues are illegal,as there is no basis in international law for the existence of the so-called 'Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus'.

I'm not even sure if these are listed in Krause's 'Unusual World Coins' catalogue at all.
