Banknotes of the British Commonwealth - Cyprus.

Here is the photos of my entire collection of Cypriot banknotes.

9 Piastres = 1 Shilling.20 Shillings = 1 Cypriot Pound (1879-1955).

1943 3 Piastres;

This is the only banknote from the Colony of Cyprus that has come my way so far.The banknotes of the Colony of Cyprus & the early banknotes of the Republic of Cyprus are extremely tough notes to find.

1,000 Mils = 1 Cypriot Pound (1955-83).

1979 250 Mils;

1982 1 Pound;

100 Cents = 1 Cypriot Pound (1983-2008).

1987 50 Cents;

1989 1 Pound;

2004 1 Pound;

100 Euro-Cents = 1 Euro (2008 onwards).

I have not yet got Cyprus' Euro note issues represented.These have the letter 'G' as the prefix code letter.
