I haven't had any news about the Cypriot 2009 coins since the issue of the E.M.U. commemorative 2 Euros (which I will be getting in October).

Anja,
I will also be getting the Maltese E.M.U. commemorative 2 Euros,plus another one of the Irish E.M.U. commemorative 2 Euros (to compare with my one,especially in relation to the stars on the obverse,as some appear to go part-way off the ring into the centre),along with the Cypriot E.M.U. commemorative 2 Euros.
You can possibly find some information on the Central Bank of Cyprus's website regarding the 2009 coin programme.
