Coin Network - Coin Collecting Social Network

Here is an idea, how can we as bloggers, website informational owners, band together to make “All boats Rise”

I think this group is a good start, but organization and an infrastructure to support “In flow of water” would be a good start. And somehow need to preserve the friendly competition.
I have a few rough ideas to interject;
1. A web origination similar to dig except for just coin sites.
2. And/ or an umbrella site used as a pivot point. Maybe even use coinnetwork as a pivot.
3. Maybe try to pull in some of the bigger fish like cointalk or coinpeople.

Personally I think dig is a good idea but the scope is too broad to make a real impact in our hobby.
I think one of the problems is that there are so many forums and blogs and without a guide to allow the good stuff to float up. People will tend to gravitate to the sites with the most users. Then because of either frustration or lack of time for the user they will begin to focus on only a few sites.

Bloggers want their own independently controlled sites, with maybe the ability to make a little money on advertisement. We need to preserve these ideas.

If such an origination can be put together I can program in php, and java, javascript, ect … I would help with that.

I think the structure should be all inclusive anybody with a coin related blog can register.

Any other ideas ?

Is anyone interested in such an idea ?

I guess due to the lack of responce that what i have proposed is not intresting to anybody, that is fine.
Sorry just got back to the site.

This is an idea worth exploring. A while back I was thinking about creating some kind of "coin home page." Something kind of like Popurls http://popurls.com/ or Alltop http://alltop.com/ with coin focused content.

It could be a one stop gateway to all the web's coin collecting content.

What does everyone think?
Ok, that sounds good, maby we can start to organize and assemble ideas, from this group. i think input from all would help to make this work better. If we all feel we have a stake in this it will only help.
I put together a new site for the idea I mentioned.

http://clickcoins.com/

A coin collector can go here and get a broad picture of all the new coin content on the web in one place.
