Coin Network - Coin Collecting Social Network

I was just browsing through my collection this evening, I have got 2, 5 cent pieces in cardboard 2 x 2's each with a notation I made indicated that one is a far 6 and the other is the near 6 variety.
When I look at these things I swear..the 6 looks exactly the same distance from the D in Canada on both of the coins. i made these notation almost 10 years ago so i can't specifically remember buying them for these specific varieties
The 2010 Charlton's instructions on how to identify it is far from steller...in fact its crap.
Heres one on ebay I can probably pick up cheap..but does anybody have a better method on how to identify these 2 varieties? Id hate to buy another one when in fact i do have both of them already.
Thanks

Martin,
I'm not familiar with the varieties for this coin.

I am familiar with the 2 types for the Canadian 1926 nickel 5c. coin, which are scarce coins,as is the 1925 5c. coin.

Aidan.
