The British Islands are part of the British Commonwealth,but to do a whole group on British Commonwealth numismatics would be a bit too large for most people,including me.

I can join with the intention to collect coins of British Islands in exchange of coins of SARC countries mostly are in British commonwealth. All present and to be members of British Islands numismatist are requested to start a good exchange of among themselves to avoid heavy load of auction cost. It will economise cost of collection with good mutual understanding and develop better relationship - what do you say.

There aren't any members of Coin Network who live in any of the British Islands,although I have emailed an invitation to Steven Gibbs,who is a numismatist who lives in Guernsey.He hasn't got back to me yet.

Which do you find more of in change - coins from Guernsey or coins from Jersey?

I know that Manx coins turn up a lot in change in the U.K.

I have heard of coins from the Falkland Islands,Gibraltar,& St. Helena & Ascension also turning up in change in the U.K. as well.

The U.K. is definitely a numismatist's paradise.
