1898 Mule One Rupee. The obverse of the coin is "A" type Bust whereas coins were made using the "C: Type Bust. A type of bust was used for proof coins only. This is not a proof but a heavily used currency rupee coin. Hence this is a rare type of Mule Coin.

Closeup of the Bust of the 1898 Mule Rupee.
Comment by Niraj Agarwal on January 25, 2009 at 4:38pm Unlisted Rare Variety of the 1885 Rupee. The Reverse is Type IV which was issued only in the years 1879,80,81 and 82. This is a rare coin.
