Welcome Aiden,
Great link, do you have any that tell the history of Hutt River and how it came about, so that others may learn a little about it.

Karyn,
I'll post a link to the official website in a separate discussion.Despite what some people think,I regard the Principality of Hutt River as being a proper & legitimate country.

Aidan,
Yes you are correct many do not recognise the Principality of Hutt River that is if they even knew about it. For many outside of Australia in may not be a commonly known part of Australian history. I asked at work yesterday as a matter of interest and most of the young people had no idea of its existence and a few of the older people did but freely admitted that they do not know the whole story as indeed I confess I do not either. You have spent much time study it, I think that it would be good for the history and also to get people to understand. I hope you are keeping well and your loved ones as well.

Kindest regards
Karyn

Karyn,
I'm doing O.K.,despite my ill-health & recovery from keyhole surgery in October last year to remove my stone-filled gallbladder, which had to come out,due to a severe pancreatitis attack that had me in hospital for a week back in May last year.

My friends from church keep an eye on me,as I am the only member of my family down here in Wellington. Most of them are 3-1/2 hours drive away in my home town of Wanganui.

Numismatics keeps me going, especially as far as keeping the mind active, despite the fact that I'm still single & childless at 32,not to mention,semi-retired on medical grounds.
