Sachin,
It depends on the denomination.I know that this is a Bengal Presidency gold coin though.

They are extremely tough to find.

Sachin,
The 1/4 Mohur is even harder to find.To see one over here in New Zealand is a surprise.

good surprise kiran i thought you are a hardcore maratha coin collector only
in this regard i would likt to ask you certian questions which would also update my knowledge for me the double fanam looks a variety simply because its a silver coin cause most of the coins i have seen are those 3-swami pagodas so is it a rare coin?and Congrats on completing the madras presidency set good set the 1/96re is also unique and it makes me wondre what must have inspired the british govt to mint such odd figures 1/96 1/48 such fractions might have been hard to trade to only those people dead and buried know this we will just make cool sets for now

there is a 1/2 mohur and 1/4 mohur holed up in nz heres the link to thier shop www.nzcollectorservices.co.nz have already mailed them perhaps you can call them in the morning and ask then if i was in your palce my first job was to visit the shop and start the deal. the bottom line is are the coins really worth the money quoted by some of the sellers cause of this global financial meltdown everything is down and coin market should be ideally a sufferer too
