This is a great idea. I think that it helps to bring the hobby to more people by going online.

By the way, I like the blog a lot. Nice to know that someone else is paying attention to what the mint is saying.
I am a coin-enthusiast and researcher based in India. My interest and research is restricted to Indian coins.

India might have issued several hundred thousand coins in the last 3000 years because it had in excess of 1000 kingdoms at times.

I will be issuing a number of free ebooks on Indian coins soon and you can check for them on my website. Indian coins great for learning history, and also as an investment.

I'm very excited about this site! It should be fun to interact with others. By the way, I'm Josh from Missouri. I just started collecting coins about 2 years ago and now I'm hooked. Not a good thing to get hooked on when you're a poor college student! :P

Hey, I'm a poor college student from Missouri too. I know it is hard to build the collection when your in school. What college do you go to?

I go to Missouri S&T (just changed name from University Missouri-Rolla). What about you?

Thanks for the invite. And I invite you to take a look at my website, www.oldcoinnews.com The website is updated daily with news stories about coin collecting and numismatics.
Where is everyone?

This network has been extremely quiet for months.

Shastri is going to be getting a website online at http://www.worldnumismaticphotogallery.net/gallery/ ,plus a forum will be getting located at http://www.worldnumismaticphotogallery.net/forum/ .

Please check them out during the next week or so,as the gallery will be an attempt for the numismatic community to recompile a world numismatic catalogue to show the cataloguers what needs to be listed,& how.

Aidan.
Everyone lost there jobs and couldnt pay there bills, so there internet service was turned off. Hope this answers your question Aiden!

I truly believe the site has been quiet because the current administration has strangled the economy and is out to strangle the social structure of the country. With such a dismal outlook for the future, it is difficult for people to get enthusiastic about a government and the U. S. Mint, which has done everything they can to destroy this country. The only people I know who show any enthusiasm are Muslims.
