I'm very excited about this site! It should be fun to interact with others. By the way, I'm Josh from Missouri. I just started collecting coins about 2 years ago and now I'm hooked. Not a good thing to get hooked on when you're a poor college student! :P
Hi, so far I like it. Now what is going to happen with your old blog. I would move it here.
Josh this is the best time co collect coins. 30 years from now you'll be happy you did!
Neat site. I was wondering when something like this would be built. Is there any way to bridge the gap with physical social networks (coin clubs)? e.g., simlar to Groups on Facebook?

Yes, absolutely a great idea. I added a function so members can start and join their own groups within Coin Network.

Hi I'm Mark. I'm new here, but I have been collecting coins actively for about a year now. I hope to make some friends here.

How do we go about doing this? I'd be interested in creating a British Commonwealth numismatics group here.

Aidan.
To create a new group, click on the Groups tab.

Once there, click the green plus button to "Add a Group."

On the next page, provide the group name, description, and choose the features and options you want.

After you have created the group, you can start inviting other members.

Hello, everyone!

I have been collecting coins for about ten years. I am interested in all coins, but my main focus is what you might call "classic" US coins - designs prior to the current ones.

The site looks well thought out and executed - and the members seem enthusiastic.

I look forward to getting to know and learning from everyone!

Hey, I'm a poor college student from Missouri too. I know it is hard to build the collection when your in school. What college do you go to?
