US MINT GOLD COINS FOR 2009

Does anyone know if the Mint is going to make any of the following this year:

1) 2009 One Ounce Proof Eagle Gold, or fractionals in either business strikes or proof.

2) 2009 One ounce Buffalo Gold in either Business strikes or Proof. I know they have announced no fractionals will be made this year.

3) Platinum in either business, burnished, or proof of either One Ounce or fractionals.

With all the strange going on with the UHR's one wonders if any gold will be made beyond the already issued One ounce Eagle business strikes in rolls.

Assuming the US Mint will offer the same products as last year, except for the specifically discontinued ones, the line up should be:

2009 American Gold Eagles - 1 oz, 1/2 oz, 1/4 oz, 1/10 oz 2009 Proof Gold Eagles, the 2009 Proof Gold Eagle 4 Coin Set, and the 1 oz 2009-W Uncirculated Gold Eagle.

2009 American Silver Eagles - the 2009 Proof Silver Eagle and the 2009-W Uncirculated Silver Eagle

2009 American Platinum Eagles - the 1 oz. 2009 Proof Platinum Eagle

2009 American Gold Buffalo - the 1 oz. 2009 Proof Gold Buffalo

However, I do see it as possible that the US Mint could not offer one or more of the above in order to fulfill demand for bullion coins. I recently wrote a full post on this here:

I am going to load up on any gold the mint makes this year, assuming it may be the last for a while.
