Unlike you,I do have an interest in the coins of Newfoundland, along with all the other colonies in Canada that had their own coins & traders' currency tokens.
For years,I had been looking for an example of the Newfoundland 1911 50c. coin, but one came my way a few months ago,so I bought it.
I'm still missing the Canadian 1911 25c. & 50c. coins though.
Aidan.

Permalink Reply by Martin on November 21, 2009 at 8:10am Hello Martin and Aidan,
many thanks for providing more and more information on one cent of New Foundland 1936 issue and
10 cents CV brook rajah of Sarawak 1927 issue. Definately, discussions and exchange of views on this
and other groups help us in getting an uptodate information from experts like you. I do appreciate the
help both of you have offered to me very promptly. Eager to hear from both of you on the subject matter.
regards

If you do not mind, may I request both of you to list a few small and very small countries around the world
whose coins are rare / very rare / scarce.....and worth collecting them ??
cheers
