Hello everyone. As a relatively new coin collector who is trying to grow their collection, I'd love your insight into the best and most reputable online coin dealers. Any thoughts or guidance is appreciated!

Hey Jon. Welcome. I am very new also. I've gotten a lot of help from this site and these people.
I think the best advice I received was from Lureuin who said, I think, "finish filling up the books that you already have. Don't start a new 'coin' until you've filled in existing blanks in your collection." Or something like that.
This came about because I mentioned starting to collect Peace Dollars or Morgan Dollars or something. I then stated that I had some of the existing Blue Books that contain cents, nickels, etc. that were partially filled. Lureuin asked "why don't you finish some of the stuff already have?" It was great advice, I think, because now I have been scouring the internet and coin shops to buy cents, which in general are pretty cheap, as long as you don't start with Proof coins or something like that. And my books are almost full. It's a very satisfying feeling.
The other advice that I received was from Jim A. who said "read the book and then buy the coin." The book, I believe, is "A guide book of the United States coins." The Red book.
So, neither of these are really MY advice to you....... but I think it is pretty good advice.
