Mint Returns

Has anyone hear returned a coin to the US Mint? I just received my Mary Todd Lincoln proof coin, and she has a smug on her forehead. I wionder if it's even worth the time and expense to return it. Any suggestions or advice will be much appreciated. I know, I should have purchased it when it first came out but I had no money at the time. Thanks, Craig

I did send my coin back and DIDN'T get the same one back! This MTL looks like it should have! But, the mint has now recharged me again and as of yet, has not posted my refund. I spoke with them last week, wondering when it would be processed, and the lady told me to expect just this...A new charge long before the credit. Thank God my CC wasn't maxed! So I will be calling again tomorrow and also inquiring about the return shipment fee that I was told they would cover. In the meantime, this caoin is far superior to what I initially received. I was hoping gold would stay below $1500 for this week to aquire the latest, (and ugliest FSG...Johnson), but it doesn't seem to be in the cards. I owe a special thanks too all those that helped me through this! You guys are fantastic!

It may take a couple days before you see the first charge refunded. I learned this the hard way a few years ago and it was a pain getting the charges sorted out. I see little has changed.....
