Lincoln Chronicles Set Listed
The mint has finally listed the date for the Linclon Chronicles set. It's October 15th with limit of one per household. It looks very nice in the leather like binder. Good luck to everybody here getting one!

I sincerely hope that some upgrades to their on-line ordering system have been put into place, otherwise this set will cause yet another black-eye for The Mint.

Someone posted that the sale of VI quarters jambed up the system last week, and no one really wants those.

Well, it's 11:02 CDT (12:02 EDT) on 01oct2009 and I just placed an order for the 2009 Uncirculated Coin Set and while the site was noticable slowed, the order went through smoothly. I was reloading the info page every few seconds until the abliity to order came up and then went right through the checkout process. According to my order number there have been almost 71,000 orders placed since my subscription for the same set was entered into the system two days ago. I assume that the subscription orders for the UNC set account for a fair amount of the extra orders. Both today's order and the subscription order now say "in stock and reserved" which is supposed to mean what it says as in once it says this there is not supposed to be any going back to delaying shipment.
