Federal Chairman Bernanke doesn't believe Gold is Money! What?

Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke is being questioned today. Reliably, Ron Paul asked this question "For more than 6000 years gold has been the basis of money - do you think gold is money?". Bernanke's response - "NO!". This man has no damned clue! This seriously shatters my confidence in this country's economic system. What do you all think about this?
