APMEX Discontinuing Most Numismatic Items
We just want to let everyone know that APMEX will no longer be selling certain types of coins, currency, collectibles and supplies! This decision has been made to accommodate the growing requests from our customers for more precious metal and bullion related items.
Going forward, we will still be buying and selling all Gold, Silver, Platinum & Palladium Bullion as well as semi-bullion items like Silver Dollars, Pre-1933 Gold, 40% and 90% Silver, and a few other selected items that our customers want. EVERY other numismatic item will be reduced for immediate liquidation.

While we all understand the need for a business to concentrate on core products that ensure profitiability, it is still very disapointing to see that APMEX is discontinuing its numismatic product lines. APMEX has been a great source of numicmatic products and a great competitor for other sources of such products. We will miss the availability of APMEX as a vendor of quality numismatic coins and supplies, but wish the company continued success in its business going forward. Hopefully, APMEX will continue to be successful in its precious metal offerings because it has been a great source of such products and has done its part to keep competition strong and prices reasonable. My biggest problem with this announcement is that I too have been a victim of these economic times and can not afford to take as much advantage of the discounts being offered as I would like too.
