I was thinking that if you gave all the money that the banks got for homes and gave it to the people with the home do you think that it would have been better spent and the banks would have been in better shape then they are now or maybe split it with all the people in the u.s. and they can pay there bills and put the what they have left in to the banks and then maybe things would be better then they are now because it does not look like what they did is working that well for us or maybe it will take more time for it to go throw the system and we want it over NOW NOW or maybe last week :o)

Think about this George; The idiots in DC have spent 780Billion on the alleged stimulus, that didn't stimulate anything but themselves. Now divide that amount into the 300 million people (legal ones), and that means that every American citizen would have received $260,000. Now consider that the average family has approx. 4 people in the household, so that equals about 1 million per household!!! Everyone would have so stimulated the economy that the problems the government tells us they will solve, would be solved! What a waste of our money. Oh well, we can all dream.
Bruce, I think you miscalculated....$780 Billion divided by 300 Million would be $2600 per person, not $260,000.

If 300 million people each received $260,000, that would total $78 Trillion dollars.
LOL, not enough coffee, but it would be a nice thought.

Yeah, lol, I think $260,000 per person really WOULD stimulate the economy!

how much do you think we could save if we close about 1/2 of the base we have and 1/2 the aid we give out we need to give aid to our people ever one all way says legal ones but I don,t think that our bases all over the place that we our paying for have legal people from the U.S. and we our paying Billions to take care of the bases and they have not pick a veg or clean a room or cut a yard
